Morris County Weather Disappoints: Less Snow Than Expected
This weekend will be more of the same weather.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ— As school-aged children woke up to the disappointing news of a regular timed start to their day, Morris County parents probably realized there was not that much snow last night.
All Morris County schools opened on schedule, following a less-than-expected amount of snow. The National Weather Service had declared a hazardous weather outlook, forecasting two inches of snow.
What actually fell was between a half an inch and .9 inches, not enough for an extra hour of sleep.

Although there's a chance for more snow Saturday night, most of it won't stick.
What will stick are bitterly low temperatures. Temperatures this weekend aren't expected to go above 25 degrees, with gusty winds expected on Sunday.
