National Blue Ribbon Award Goes to Mendham Twp. Middle School

Recognition is first for Morris County public middle school in 32-year history.

Thanks in part to its high student achievement levels and quality of programs offered, Mendham Township Middle School has been recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education.

Mendham Township Middle School was among nine Blue Ribbon recipients in the state of New Jersey, but the first-ever public middle school in Morris County to garner the accolade.

MTMS is also just the 21st public middle school in New Jersey to earn the award in the 32 years of its distribution, according to Superintendent Sal Constantino. The middle school has also earned the New Jersey Reward School designation for the past three years.
