New To Chester? Meet Other Families Before School Starts

CHESTER, NJ — New to Chester? The New Families To Chester Welcome Group is hosting a few new family meet and greets to help new families get acclimated to Chester.

"As a group, we will have children in all three Chester schools, speak several international languages, and because we ourselves moved to Chester within the last year, we know a lot of what you're going through during this challenging time," co-chairs Lynn Grisco and Melissa Tomasello wrote.

The group will hold two before school events, one on Aug. 16 and the other on Aug. 31. Two more will be helf after school beings, on Sept. 15 and Sept. 28. Children are welcome at the first three dates, but the last is for parents only.

The group can also help connect new parents with local organizations, such as Boy and Girl Scouts.
