What are the top 15 hospitals in New Jersey?
U.S. News and World Report sifted through data for nearly 5,000 hospitals and results from surveys of more than 140,000 physicians to rank the best centers in 16 adult specialties from cancer to urology, according to the publication.
Death rates, patient safety and hospital reputation were a few of factors considered. Only 137 hospitals were nationally ranked in a specialty.

Some notable omissions included: Cooper University Hospital in Camden, Community Medical Center in Toms River, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, among others.
No psychiatric hospitals in New Jersey made the list.
