Mendham's Labor Day Parade Marches On Despite Rain
From cars to clowns and all the creativity in between, a wet Labor Day couldn't stop a great parade.
The unofficial end of summer – Labor Day – wasn't exactly blue skies and warm sun, but that didn't stop decades of tradition in Mendham Borough.
The annual Mendham Borough Labor Day Parade went off without a hitch, albeit a bit wet, as hundreds marched in and lined the parade route Monday morning. The parade, as always, was followed by the Pastime Club's annual carnival.
Marchers from surrounding towns joined in and residents from across the region came out to support their neighbors.
