Real Estate Developer, Mendham Twp. Great-Grandfather Dies at 91

Philip Rizzo led a fulfilling and successful life.

The Mendham Township resident of the last quarter-century died recently at his home at the age of 91.

Rizzo lived in Florham Park before moving to Mendham 25 years ago. He was a self-employed real estate developer, but had a long career before that as a dress designer for women’s sportswear in New York City.

Rizzo is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of 67 years, one son, two daughters, seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
