Rep. Mike Carroll Engages Mendham Students
The Assemblyman for the 25th district discusses politics, policy and more.

As part of Legislators in Your Schools month, Mendham Township superintendent Sal Constantino sent out letters inviting representatives to come and speak to the students.
Assemblyman Mike Carroll, first elected in 1995, accepted the invitation and spoke to the students in a packed gymnasium last week.
"It went great, he was very interesting and engaging for the kids," Constantino said. "He talked about all kinds of issues and answered their questions."

According to Constantino, the students were prepared to speak to the Assemblyman and posed tough questions and held their own in a lively debate.
"He presented a very interesting side to the issues. The assemblyman is very conversative so the kids got to hear his perspective," Constantino said. "And they engaged him in some debate at times which was good for them."
