Road Closure Through Friday Due To Mendham Milling And Paving

Mendham has released a schedule of milling and paving that may temporarily close a road through the end of the week.

MENDHAM, NJ — Motorists are alerted that Tempe Wicke Road will be milled and repaved this week, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 17, and lasting until the end of the week, according to an alert by township police.

Police expect minor traffic delays as a result of the work, but there is a planned detour in place.

The construction will take place between Kennaday Road and Leddell Road, and only residents who live in this area will be allowed in and out of the area, police said.

On Wednesday and Thursday, construction will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. but on Friday the construction will take place at night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Police have stated that they will work to keep one direction of travel open as much as possible while forcing the other to detour.
