Prosecutor: Man 'Acting Suspiciously' Had Glocks, Hollow-Point Bullets in Morristown Plaza

Police have arrested and jailed a Peapack-Gladstone man for allegedly having two Glock handguns and hollow-point bullets while inside the Headquarters Plaza in Morristown.

Andrew Pfitzenmayer, 26, was lodged on $100,000 bail Wednesday night after Morristown police arrested him for weapons possession and other offenses, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said.

Police were alerted when someone saw Pfitzenmayer ”acting suspiciously” in the plaza around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Knapp said. When police arrived they found Pfitzenmayer and allegedly in possession of two 9MM handguns, Knapp said.

In addition to the guns, the report said, Pfitzenmayer was allegedly in possession of one magazine with 10 rounds of hollow-point bullets, and a second magazine with 10 hollow-point bullets, though the capacity was set for 15.

Pfitzenmayer was charged with possession of weapons related to the possession of the two Glock 9MM handguns, as well as possession of prohibited weapons related to the possession of hollow-point ammunition.

According to his social media profile pages on LinkedIn and Facebook, Pfitzenmayer is the CEO of St. Leger Concierge and is a firefighter in for the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department.
