Snakes n' Scales Come to Mendham's Montessori School

Summer means warm weather, cool treats and summer camps.

This year, in addition to the morning themed camp, the afternoon sessions at the Westmont Montessori School in Mendham included professionals from Snakes n’ Scales, Travelin’ Tumblers, and Mad Science, to add an additional element of hands-on learning.

Snakes n’ Scales provides campers the opportunity to meet and learn about all sorts of reptiles, including turtles, snakes, lizards, and even an alligator.  Each week, children are greeted by different animals and get the chance to ask the zoologist questions while also learning how the animals move, what they eat, and what special skills they have.
