Landscape Design with Andrea Buckingham - June 7th at 10am

We are privileged to offer a presentation on landscape design from Licensed Landscape Architect Andrea Buckingham. Andrea will draw from formal education and real-world experiences to discuss what makes up a good landscape design, the challenges a property might present and how best to deal with those challenges, consideration of drainage, lighting, public/private spaces, and the importance of planning. This is just a small sampling of what will be discussed in addition to the thought process involved in laying out a good landscape plan. We’ve been trying for several years to get Andrea to speak and after a great deal of prodding she’ll be here on June 7th. We hope you will attend, you won’t be disappointed.

Additionally, Leirion will field questions regarding your perennial gardens and specific perennial questions. Don’t miss this colorful presentation!

“Double Trouble” with Mark Zukovich & Art Laster - June 21st at 10am

Find out what's happening in Mendham-Chesterfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

We’ll leave time for your questions as Mark Zukovich, the “Garden Coach,” will team up with our own Art Laster, President of Plant Detectives, to field your garden questions. Admittedly, this is the first time we are trying this, but it seems as though the Q and A portions of these seminars takes over the time slot, so why not offer a session trying to solve your gardening issues. Hardiness, winter damage, new cultivars, pruning, trends, and just plain anything related to plants, problems, gardening and the like. We hope you’ll attend and bring your questions. By the way, if you stump us there’s nothing in it for you as its really not that difficult. We hope to offer good information and fun banter.

Seating is limited so please RSVP to cheryl@plantdetectives.com

Don’t be surprised if you walk away with more knowledge and a free gift or two. We hope you can attend and support these informative sessions!
