St. Joe's Students March on Washington to Support Pro-Life
Seventh, eighth graders join 500,000 marchers on anniversary of Roe v. Wade decision.

More than two dozen students from St. Joseph School in Mendham headed down to Washington D.C. to make their stance known on a national issue.
On Jan. 22, 25 students in seventh and eighth grades participated in the 42nd annual March for Life rally in the nation’s capitol on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.
Each year the March is made to bring awareness to the Prolife movement, explaining to the public the importance of overturning the landmark decision.

In 2015, the March’s theme was “Every Life is a Gift.”
Approximately 500,000 participants were on hand for this year’s event, marching up Constitutional Avenue to the Supreme Court Building. St. Joe’s students met with Rep. Scott Garrett at a reception in the Rayburn Building following the March.
