Sunday Storm Changes Monday Schedule For Local Schools

A winter storm that brought several inches of snow to the area Sunday afternoon has led to a two-hour delayed opening for all locals schools Monday.

With that comes a change in the schedule for students scheduled to take the PARCC test as well. In Chester, PARCC tests for fifth and sixth grades will not take place. All PARCC testing for Mountain View Middle School in Mendham Borough will be rescheduled as well.

The Chester, Mendham Township, Mendham Borough, and West Morris Regional school districts made the decision just before 9 p.m. Sunday night.
