Turkey Farm's Future to be Discussed
Borough Council meeting will feature an update on the plans for the Larison's Turkey Farm property.

Chester Borough announced last week that the Turkey Farm Acquisition, LLC have requested a zoning change to the property known as Larison Turkey Farm Restaurant and that the Borough Council will start to review this request at the upcoming Mayor and Council meeting, Tuesday at 7 p.m..
The prospect of onward progress had many residents excited.
Susan Nagel-Rees commented, "I think a tasteful mini mall with boutiques not chain stores would do very well, there is not enough volume in the area to support a large restaurant."

But Patch user Jane tempered some of that enthusiasm with concerns.
"I think it would be horribly sad to see this property developed and turned into a supermarket or a hotel. I don't think a mini mall of shops would be successful at all. The village shops struggle and The Streets of Chester has been losing occupants. I would like to see the town purchase the property and keep it as 'open space' as much as possible. Perhaps it could be connected to Chubb park in some way."
