Time Change For Chester Township Council Meeting
The June 8 meeting will now begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Chester Township Municipal Building, 1 Parker Road, officials said.
CHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Chester Township Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 8 will now begin at 6:00 p.m., township officials announced.
The time change is necessary in order to hold the Police Department Awards Ceremony, officials said.
The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Chester Township Municipal Building, 1 Parker Road. According to the agenda, the council will present a proclamation declaring June Pride Month, a capital budget presentation, and 12 new resolutions.

According to the agenda, four police officers will be appointed to the Chester Township Police Department, and Chief of Police Tom Williver will receive formal recognition by the Council.
