Traffic Delays Expected for 5K Fundraiser

Traffic will be delayed but accommodated in Chester Borough Saturday morning as runners and walkers take part in the annual Spring Stampede 5K and Fun Run on May 11.

Motorists will be able to cross through the areas where participants will be taking on the course, so not to completely halt transportation to churches, businesses, homes and other activities, organizers said.

The fun run and race will weave through Main Street, Budd Avenue, Fairmount Avenue, Perry Street, Hillside Road, Collins Lane, and Acorn Trail between 8:15 and 10:15 a.m.
