As part of my Girl Scout Gold Award leadership project, together with Xtreme Volleyball Academy, we are offering a six week volleyball clinic for boys and girls with special needs ages 10-15.
This program is designed to provide athletic opportunities for children with special needs. Playing sports can instill confidence, team work, and good sportsmanship for any child. The program will include fun games and activities which will help instruct the participants in the basics of volleyball. The instructors will be provided with training on the specific disabilities and modifications will be made to help the participants feel comfortable.
