WATCH: Mendham Man's Risotto Recipe Showcased by Online Food Network

Doug Matthews’ Roasted Butternut Orange Risotto wasn’t cooked up by mistake.

The Mendham man’s recipe came about as his love for cooking grew.

Matthews was recently featured by allrecipes.com for his homemade risotto recipe, as camera crews and host Julie Zwillich came into the Mendham home to cook the food firsthand alongside the recipe’s creator.

Matthews said the crew was in his home in August to film the two-minute, 37-second segment. Zwillich opens the segment by introducing Matthews as one of Allrecipes “All-Stars.”
