We All Scream: NJ Ice Cream Shop On Nation's Best List

LEDGEWOOD, NJ - Just minutes off of Route 80, nestled on a stretch of 10 west lines of patrons brave the unrelenting heat and car exhaust for a sweet treat at Cliff's Homemade Ice Cream, and now the business has been served a national honor.

The Daily Meal has named Cliff's to their new list of best ice cream shops in the country:

"Strolling an old school boardwalk is a must in New Jersey, and so is hunting down a quality ice cream cone. Cliff’s Homemade Ice Cream in Ledgewood has 11 flavors of soft ice cream, 60 hard hand-dipped flavors and seasonal options on the menu. Of the many eclectic flavors, Crooked Cookie, Whiskey Turtle Fudge and Rocky Road are just a few locals rave about."

Cliff's does sell their product to other eateries, but most patrons opt to sample their wares in the shaded picnic area behind the store. We here at Patch are big fans of a Skyscraper cone (an enormous tower of soft serve) dipped in chocolate.
