Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold at Morris Plains Convenience Store

A dollar and a dream, they say.

Now one lucky winner has 5,000 reasons to believe in those dreams.

While no jackpot winning tickets were sold during the last Mega Millions drawing and the pot has rolled to $93 million, a $5,000 winning ticket was purchased at the Powder Mart on Gibraltar Drive in Morris Plains.

It was the highest payout from Tuesday’s drawing, where a total of 76,012 players took in $150,996 in winnings, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The next drawing is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26 at 11 p.m.
