Would You Eat A Garlic Cupcake?

ROCKAWAY, NJ— Ava's Cupcakes has plenty of fun flavors: key lime pie, grasshopper, raspberry lemonade, and, on April 17th, garlic.

A specialty black garlic cupcake will be sold for one day only to celebrate National Garlic Day.

Ava's Black Garlic Truffle Cupcake features a milk chocolate cake is stuffed with Ava’s hand-rolled chocolate garlic truffle, and topped with a hand whipped sea-salted chocolate buttercream and roasted black garlic chip.

"This decadent chocolate lovers treat is made with black garlic. Black garlic is an epicurean delight. It is a naturally fermented garlic that brings out an amazingly sweet, nutty, molasses flavor," a press release said.

It'll go for $3.75 each, and orders can be placed in person or by phone.
