MIDDLESEX BOROUGH, NJ — Borough residents can bring sensitive documents for free shredding Saturday morning at the Middlesex Boro Municipal Complex, 1200 Mountain Ave.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the shredding truck is full, whichever comes first. It is open to Middlesex residents only.
Each car is limited to five file boxes or 100 pounds of paper. Documents must be brought in a box, crate or other sturdy container — no plastic bags. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed.
The following items will not be accepted: plastic binders, sheet protectors, newspapers, magazines, hardcover books, junk mail, photos, X-rays, CDs, shredded paper or garbage. Business paper, including home-based businesses, is also not permitted. Loads containing unacceptable items will be rejected.
