YMCA of the Jersey Shore Welcomes 5 Board Members

YMCA of the Jersey Shore (the Y) has appointed five new members to its board of directors, adding community-minded leaders who will help shape the organization’s future and expand opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Y’s 56-member volunteer board plays a vital role in shaping the organization’s future by setting strategic direction, advancing its mission and championing philanthropic support, so everyone has the opportunity to thrive at the nonprofit.

“We welcome our newest board members at a time of tremendous momentum for our Y,” said Chief Volunteer Officer Michael A. Wright, who leads the board. “As we continue expanding our impact across the Jersey Shore region, we remain committed to creating stronger communities where individuals and families feel connected, supported and empowered.”

Community Leaders Join Board

The new board members were elected to three-year terms at the Y’s annual retreat June 3 and April board meeting. They are:

• Anthony Caputo, co-founder of GRANTvest Financial Group, where he serves as a fiduciary financial planner and chief compliance officer. He resides in Millstone.

• Anne Kraljic, a resident of Toms River and the president and owner of Vision Financial Services Inc. She also is a certified group fitness instructor and teaches part-time at the Ocean County YMCA.

• Dave Manzo is a co-founder of Atlantic Physical Therapy Center, which he helped grow from one clinic to over 40 in central and coastal New Jersey. He resides in Wall Township.

• Sara E. Osberger is the executive director of marketing, medical informatics at Fujifilm. She resides in Toms River.

• David Wickersham of Rumson is the founder and chief executive officer of Progressive Pipeline Management and affiliated companies.

The Y has been on a path of growth since it merged in 2019 with the YMCA of Western Monmouth County and began managing operations at the Ocean County YMCA. It now serves over 60,000 members.
