MIDDLESEX, NJ — The Borough of Middlesex will kick off its 2026 Music in the Pavilion Summer Concert Series next month.
The series will kick off with a free performance by the James Austin Jr. Trio on Wednesday, July 15, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Legion Park Pavilion, located behind the Middlesex Public Library and Legion Park.
Presented by Middlesex Recreation and the Middlesex Borough Culture & Arts Committee, in cooperation with American Legion Post 306, the concert will feature jazz music, soulful melodies and crowd favorites, including music from Stevie Wonder.
The July 15 concert is sponsored by Unity Bank.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music with family, friends and neighbors.
Before the concert, American Legion Post 306 will host a fundraising dinner beginning at 6 p.m., with the Legion opening at 5:30 p.m. to support local veterans' programs and services.
The Music in the Pavilion series includes four free concerts throughout the summer, with additional performances scheduled for July 29, Aug. 12 and Aug. 26.
Rain dates have been designated for each concert. Additional parking will be available behind Borough Hall.
