Middlesex Fire Department To Host Family Fishing Derby

MIDDLESEX, NJ — The Middlesex Fire Department is inviting residents of all ages to its annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Victor Crowell Park.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., with a $10 entry fee per person. The event is open to everyone, with a special welcome for children 14 and younger.

Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories for the biggest catches, with the awards ceremony taking place after 1 p.m.

In addition to fishing, attendees can enjoy food, raffles and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Middlesex Fire Department. Organizers say additional event details will be announced on the department's Facebook page as the date approaches.
