MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex Borough seniors can spend Thursday morning connecting with neighbors, police officers and local service staff at a free event centered on community connection, wellness and mental health.
The "Together for Wellness" community policing event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Middlesex Borough Senior Center, 1400 Mountain Avenue. It is presented by the Middlesex Borough Police Department and Middlesex Borough Senior Services.
According to the borough's event notice, the morning will include activities, services and light refreshments, intended to encourage community connection and well-being. The attached event flyer promises "a moment to create," health and wellness resources, and opportunities to build community connections.
There is no charge to attend, and no RSVP is required, according to the borough. Adults who have questions or need transportation can call 732-356-0414.
The event offers seniors a relaxed way to meet neighbors, learn about local resources and strengthen community connections.
