• N.J. state offices will have delayed opening Monday as nor'easter lingers (nj.com subscription) — Middlesex County remains under a coastal flood advisory through Monday afternoon as high tides and lingering floodwaters from the weekend nor'easter continue to affect travel. New Jersey state offices, including those serving Middlesex residents, will open at 11 a.m. Monday, while weather‑essential employees must report as usual. Drivers are urged to stay off flooded roads until waters recede.
