Middlesex Green Brook Cleanup Set For Saturday: How To Join

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex residents looking to lend a hand outdoors can help clean up the Green Brook in Mountain View Park Saturday, but they'll need to register first.

The International Clean Up Day event is scheduled for Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Mountain View Park, 302 John F. Kennedy Drive, according to the Middlesex Borough Environmental Commission.

The cleanup is being held with the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership, Middlesex Borough Department of Public Works and Environmental Commission.

All supplies will be provided. Volunteers are asked to wear shoes and clothing that can get wet and dirty. Sandwiches and refreshments are also planned following the cleanup.

Pre-registration is required, according to the borough. Residents can find the registration link through the Environmental Commission's event announcement.

The event is also listed on the borough's community calendar for Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Mountain View Park.
