Middlesex Shines A Light On September 11 Anniversary
The borough will hold a candlelight ceremony marking 25 years since the September 11 terrorist attacks.
MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex residents will gather Friday, September 11, to mark 25 years since the terrorist attacks that changed the nation.
The borough’s annual September 11 commemorative ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. at Victor Crowell Park. The public is invited to remember those who lost their lives and those who served following the attacks on September 11, 2001.
Candles will be provided, allowing neighbors to honor the anniversary together as a community. Attendees should bring their own chairs.

The ceremony offers Middlesex residents a meaningful place to reflect, remember those affected and come together as a community.
If bad weather moves in, the ceremony will be held at Middlesex High School at the same time, according to the borough’s announcement.
