Middlesex Wind Advisory Begins As Damaging Gusts Loom

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex residents may want to secure anything left outside before a wind advisory takes effect Friday evening.

The Middlesex Borough Police Department alert says the advisory runs from 6 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Sunday. North winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected, with gusts up to 45 mph.

“Tree limbs could be blown down,” the alert says, and a few power outages may result. Strong winds could also make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.

The alert advises residents to secure outdoor objects and use extra caution while driving.
