'Music In the Pavilion' Summer Concert Series Returns Next Week

MIDDLESEX, NJ — The 2026 Music in the Pavilion Summer Concert Series returns next week in Middlesex.

The series will feature four free Wednesday evening performances at the Legion Park Pavilion.

Concerts will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the pavilion, located on Legion Place behind the Middlesex Public Library and Legion Park.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music with family and friends. Rain dates are scheduled for the following Wednesday.

The lineup includes:

• July 15: James Austin Jr. Trio, performing jazz-inspired arrangements and songs made popular by Stevie Wonder.
• July 29: Summer Breeze, a yacht rock band.
• Aug. 12: Middlesex High School Modern Band, featuring hits from the 1970s through today.
• Aug. 26: Liquid Garden, performing pop, country and classic rock favorites.

Admission is free and open to the public. Before each concert, residents are invited to support American Legion Post 306, which opens at 5 p.m. for dinner as a fundraiser benefiting veterans' programs and services.

Additional parking is available behind Borough Hall.
