Veterans Housing Event Coming To Middlesex: What To Know
The free event will bring state and real estate experts to Middlesex to discuss housing programs and resources for veterans.
MIDDLESEX, NJ — Veterans and their families can learn about housing programs and resources at a free event coming to Middlesex next week.
The Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS® will host its first Helping Veterans Come Home event Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 306, 707 Legion Place. The event is open to the public.
New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Vincent Solomeno will participate in a panel discussing veteran housing. The program will also cover legal, mortgage and advocacy topics, according to the association.

Solomeno is expected to discuss the state’s Bringing Veterans Home initiative. The state says the program connects veterans experiencing homelessness with housing and support services.
“We are very excited to host this event,” Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS® CEO Nicole Banbor said in a press release.
