KEANSBURG, NJ — Filming for "Grown-Ups 3," the new Adam Sandler movie, will take place in Keansburg over Labor Day weekend, Keansburg Mayor George Hoff said this week.
Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and more were seen filming scenes for the movie Monday in Woodbridge, and a day later at a hotel in Morristown.
There was chatter on Facebook that Sandler was spotted at the Keansburg Amusement Park Wednesday.
But Patch was unable to confirm that.
Hoff said he was informed the movie stars and crew would be filming in Keansburg at the end of the month. He said that's all he was told.
Netflix announced in May filming will begin for "Grown-Ups 3." In addition to Sandler and Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider will all return and reprise their roles in the beloved family comedy. It's unknown if Salma Hayek, Maria Bello and Maya Rudolph will return as their wives.
On Tuesday of this week, Sandler was spotted doing more filming at Rod's Steak & Seafood inside the Madison Hotel in Morristown.
In Woodbridge, Colonia Country Club was used as a staging area and for catering. And film crews were also spotted by Colonia High School Monday.
