MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The following media release contains information pertaining to arrests and police activities for the Middletown Twp. Police Department during the time period of July 1, 2026 through July 31, 2026.

From July 1 - July 31, Middletown Police responded to 4,771 calls for service, including 420 first aid calls, 127 burglar alarms, 150 fire calls and 132 motor vehicle crashes. Police officers arrested 76 individuals, including 19 for outstanding bench warrants and 20 for domestic violence.

Arrests are as follows:

A man, age 49, from Leonardo, was arrested by Officer Jack Chenoweth for defiant trespass. He was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, age 47, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Peter McGovern for driving under the influence. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, age 44, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Trevor Brey for a contempt of court warrant. Was processed and released on his recognizance.

A woman, age 64, from Rumson, was arrested by Officer Stanley Oseback shoplifting. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, age 23, from Jersey City, was arrested by Lieutenant Michael Heaton for a contempt of court warrant. Was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

A man age 53, from Keansburg, was arrested by Officer James Davis for driving under the influence. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, age 37, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested by Officer Sean Macdonald for driving under the influence. Was processed and released.

A woman, age 76, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Jack Chenoweth for defiant trespass. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, age 29, from Debary, Florida, was arrested by Officer Anthony Bartolone for shoplifting. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A woman, age 28, from Maitland, Florida, was arrested by Officer Anthony Bartolone for shoplifting. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A woman, age 30, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Nicholas Massaro for driving under the influence. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A woman, age 51, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Sebastian Martin for shoplifting. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, 53, from Oklahoma, was arrested by Police Officer Brian Macdonald for a contempt of court warrant. Was processed and released.

A man, age 22, from Atlantic Highlands, was arrested by Office Brian Flannigan for criminal trespass. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A man, age 35, from Burlington, was arrested by Officer Allison Ruane for contempt of court warrants. Was processed and released on his own recognizance.

A man, age 44, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested by Officer Thomas Stone for impersonating a police officer and possession of unlawful weapons and devices. Was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

A woman, age 76, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Jack Chenoweth for obstructing the law, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A woman, age 23, from Spring Lake Boro, was arrested by Officer Anthony Bartolone for shoplifting. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A woman, age 32, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Aiden Carey for theft. She was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

A man, age 35, from Otsego, Minnesota, was arrested by Officer Sean Macdonald for endangerment, resisting arrest, and hindering. Was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

A man, age 38, from Perth Amboy, was arrested by Officer Nicholas Massaro for a contempt of court warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
