• Eatontown Family Sues Monmouth County After Their Son Was Injured In County Park (patch.com) — A lawsuit over a 2022 injury at Huber Woods Park in Middletown's Locust section is still winding through Monmouth County court, with the next hearing set for August 28. The Eatontown teen's family is suing multiple agencies, while Middletown Township has been dismissed and county lawyers now seek to name the boy's friend partly responsible.
   

• Monmouth County: 🎉High Technology High School in Middletown Named No. 1 STEM High School in the Nation! (tapinto.net) — High Technology High School, located in Middletown's Lincroft section, has been named the No. 1 STEM high school in the nation and top high school in New Jersey by U.S. News & World Report. County officials praised the students, staff, and families, noting the strong performance of several Monmouth County vocational schools that serve local teens.
   

• NJ Hibernians 9/11 Day of Remembrance (irishecho.com) — Middletown will host the New Jersey Ancient Order of Hibernians' 9/11 Day of Remembrance on Saturday, September 26, with a memorial Mass and ceremony on Route 36. The event will honor Hibernians lost in the attacks, beginning with a noon service at the Knights of Columbus Hall and a solemn neighborhood procession led by bagpipers.
