Over the next six months, the Health and Planning departments will review local health data and seek resident input through a community survey, giving you a chance to influence how neighborhood design, resources, and ordinances support healthier living.
• Rained-Out Wedding Held In Empty Circus Liquor Store In Middletown (patch.com) — A Middletown family saved their daughter's backyard wedding from a nor'easter by moving the celebration into the empty Circus liquor store on Route 35, thanks to longtime friends who own the property. Neighbors and relatives transformed the vacant space into a lively venue, turning a stressful forecast into a memorable, nostalgic community moment for many longtime Middletown residents.
• Middletown North football runs away for road victory over St. John Vianney (nj.com subscription) — Middletown North stayed perfect at 5-0 with a 27-6 road win over St. John Vianney in Holmdel, powered by two touchdown passes from Derek Grasso and two scoring runs by Matt Belenko. A stingy Lions defense held Vianney to one score, keeping Middletown North atop the Shore B-North standings as they chase a conference title.
