MILLBURN, NJ — Families can soon enjoy a newly renovated playground at Taylor Park, with a grand reopening scheduled for Wednesday.
The Township of Millburn will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:45 p.m., followed by an opportunity for children to explore the all-inclusive playground, according to a township announcement.
As Patch previously reported, the $1 million renovation includes separate play areas for children ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12, connected by an accessible pathway. The expanded playground also makes it easier for children to access the new equipment.
The project also includes new playground equipment and safety surfacing.
Millburn officials thanked residents for their patience during construction and said they look forward to welcoming everyone back.
