MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn officials celebrated the reopening of Taylor Park's all-inclusive playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 14.
According to the township's announcement, the project received $750,000 in NJ Green Acres grant funding in 2025, along with $250,000 in township capital funding.
The playground features two separate areas for children ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12, connected by an accessible pathway.
New equipment includes an inclusive swing seat, spinner and shade canopies.
"We are excited to unveil this new playground that is designed so all children have equal access to participate in play regardless of ability, age, or comfort-level," Recreation Director Chris Myers said.
