Burglary Reported on White Oak Ridge Road

Millburn police are investigating a burglary on White Oak Ridge Road where jewelry was reported missing.

Police said the rear sliding glass door was forced open, and the incident appears to have happened between 1:30 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Sunday. The amount of jewelry taken was undetermined.

Graffiti Reported at Glenwood School, Eggs Thrown at Cars

Millburn police are investigating several criminal mischief incidents, including graffiti at Glenwood Elementary School and eggs thrown at two cars.

A Keats Road resident reported someone threw eggs at his car while it was parked in the driveway. The incident happened sometime between July 24 at 8 a.m. and the time of the report on Friday at just after 10 p.m.

A resident reported someone threw eggs at her car while it was parked on Hillside Avenue. The incident happened on Wednesday between 7:30-10 p.m.

A custodian at Glenwood School reported graffiti painted on the side of a trailer on the school property. Police believe the graffiti was painted between 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. on Thursday.

Criminal Mischief, Thefts Investigated at Mall

Millburn police investigated thefts and a criminal mischief at the Mall at Short Hills during the last week.

On Sunday, someone reported the sides of his car were scratched and an obscenity was scratched on the hood while it was parked in the mall parking lot. The incident happened sometime between 11:45 a.m. and the time of the report at about 1:45 p.m.

On Saturday, a West Orange resident reported her wallet was stolen from her purse while at the mall between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Her wallet contained $600 in cash and a credit car. There had been several attempts to fraudulently use the credit card, police said.

The victim told police her wallet may have been taken from her purse when she left it unattended to use the rest room.

The assistant store manager at Victoria's Secret reported the theft of 117 bras on Thursday. The employee reported three men entered the store and took the bras before fleeing the mall. The bras are valued at $50 each.

Bicycle Stolen on Adams Avenue

An Adams Avenue resident reported on Thursday someone stole a bicycle from the yard. The incident happened sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday and 10 a.m. on Thursday. The bicycle has a value of $300.
