Enjoy an intimate evening at Durand-Hedden as we kick off the Raising the Roof! campaign, dedicated to raising the funds needed to replace Durand-Hedden’s 100-year-old roof and to ensuring that Durand-Hedden will continue to offer high-quality community events and programming.
This fundraising evening features an exclusive preview and tour of our newest exhibit, Olmsted and the Hudson River School: Art in Landscape. Our guide for the evening is Janet Mandel, an expert in art history. Guests will also enjoy refreshments and music performed by pianist and vocalist Emma Phillips. Durand-Hedden is grateful to Pollock Properties Group, which is generously sponsoring music for this event. Charlie and Vanessa Pollock are the founders of the Pollock Arts Initiative which, in partnership with the Achieve Foundation, promotes access and equity for art education for all children in our school district.
