Car Strikes Millburn Avenue Garage

There were no reported injuries when a car struck a garage on Millburn Avenue on Tuesday evening.

A car ran into a masonary support column at 469 Millburn Ave., which is near Millburn High School, according to a Millburn Fire Department report. The crash was reported at just after 5:30 p.m.

Firefighters used struts to support the structure, which was a row of residential garages. Building Officials Steve Jones responded to the scene and approved the department's temporary fix to secure the building by installing lolly columns that were secured with nails.

About a week ago, a car struck a garage at the rear of a Millburn Avenue apartment building at the corner of Wyoming Avenue.
