CBCF and Bloomingdale's Team Up for Weekend of Shopping at Mall at Short Hills to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research
– The Cure Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
(CBCF) is teaming up with Bloomingdale’s
in the Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, NJ for a weekend of shopping that
will benefit breast cancer research efforts.
The three-day event will be centered around a special panel
discussion and presentation of contemporary designers from the nationally
recognized retailer on Saturday, June 7th at 11 a.m. In addition to a fashion show highlighting
the latest designs and trends, Dr. Serena Chen of St. Barnabas and Dr. Shari
Goldfab of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center will discuss breast cancer
research efforts and successes with two survivors of the disease.
Bloomingdale’s will donate 10% of all sales from Friday, June 6th to Sunday, June 8th

CBCF is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization which supports
breast cancer research under the direction of Dr. Larry Norton, the Deputy
Physician-in-Chief for Breast Cancer Programs and the Medical Director of the
Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

CBCF’s Director of Events and Special Projects. “We’re extremely fortunate to

charitable endeavors.”

Since its inception in 2007, CBCF has emerged as a leader in
breast cancer awareness by raising funds for the research initiative of Dr.
Norton and the theory of Self-Seeding.
The Clifton, N.J.-based organization hosts a number of fundraising
events and informative seminars throughout the New York metropolitan area and
is aggressively expanding its outreach throughout the United States and beyond.
