The Millburn Library will present its "Cultural Fridays" series this fall, running once a month on Friday afternoons and featuring a variety of shows, demonstrations and performances.
All performances take place at 2 p.m. in the library auditorium. Registration is recommended but not required. The programs are free to all and are sponsored by the Friends of the Millburn Library. The Millburn Library is located at 200 Glen Ave., Millburn, NJ 07041 and can be reached at 973-376-1006.

September 15 – Sinatra and Doo-Wop with A Touch of Class
This exciting retro musical performance takes places that Brooklyn Paramount. It’s the Twilight Zone! The year is 1946, and the audience is waiting for Frank Sinatra to take the stage. But the stage will go back and forth from Sinatra in 1946 to the Alan Freed Show in 1956, with a new music he calls “Rock n Roll.” Songs like “In the Still of the Night,” “Teenager in Love,” “Earth Angel,” will be performed, along with Sinatra classics.

October 13 – Chinese Tea Tasting with Marjorie Wang
Join local tea expert Marjorie Wang for a three-tea Chinese tea tasting, where will be tasting White Peony white tea, Hou Kui green tea, and cliff tea, a roasted wulong. We will be covering an introduction to Chinese tea, how to taste and brew Chinese tea, and the importance of traditional handmaking and historical terroir.
November 10 – Tenali Raman with the Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Program
Tenali Raman is a special theatrical performance of Indian folk tales, brought to us by the Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center. Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center is dedicated to celebrating diversity through arts education, dramatic performances, and creation of new works.
December 8 – Female Spies of World War II with The Ladies of History
Join us for thrilling tales of female spies during World War II. Spymaster Vera Atkins will deliver up secrets of women you never knew were spies. Performance by the remarkable Ladies of History.
