'Empty Bowl' Fundraiser Returns To Millburn Middle School

Millburn MS Peer Leadership Program students will sell handmade clay bowls to help hunger at the 'Empty Bowls' fundraiser on March 9.

From Millburn Township Public Schools: Student participants from Millburn Middle School Peer Leadership Program will sell handmade clay bowls to help hunger and build community as part of the upcoming "Empty Bowls" fundraiser on March 9.

For $15, donors can select a handmade clay bowl served with a hot meal, learn about the fight against hunger and have some fun. Proceeds will be used to make donations to Down the Block Inc., and The Community FoodBank of NJ.

Whole Foods Market of Union has donated all of the soup and bread for the meal.
