Essex County College Offering Specialized Courses in January
Check out some of the courses being offered at Essex County College's main Newark campus this month.

Essex County College will be offering a series of professional and personal development classes at its main Newark campus during the month of January.
The following classes are being offered this month:
Four-in-One is a 12 session course on Microsoft software program. Students will learn the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access programs. The class meets Saturdays, starting Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Cost is $495.

Fireman Black Seal in Charge: Low Pressure is a course covering steam plant operations and is designed to help prepare students for the state license examination in the Black Seal Grade of stationary fireman. Students must have at least three months experience as a helper. The class will meet for 12 Saturdays, starting Jan. 24, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuition is $390.
Windows Seminar will be held Jan. 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Students will learn the basics of icons, program groups, minimizing and maximizing cascade and tile, dialog boxes, buttons, bars, and menus. Cost of the class is $33.
