Gas Line Construction on Highland Avenue
PSE&G is working on upgrading its gas lines in Short Hills.
There were traffic detours on Highland Avenue near Stewart and Hartshorn drives on Monday as PSE&G workers upgraded the gas line in the area.
The work is part of a project PSE&G announced earlier this year that upgrades a number of gas lines in Short Hills, including on Hobart Avenue and the surrounding area.
The work caused some detours. Traffic heading towards Hartshorn Drive could drive through the vicinity as one lane was open to traffic. The road was closed, however, heading away from Hartshorn Drive.
