Group Stole Credit Cards, Spent $32K At Short Hills Mall: Police

Police say cars were broken into in Morris Twp., Madison just before shopping spree at Short Hills Mall.

Short Hills, NJ - Morris County Park Police are looking for the public’s assistance after stolen credit cards turned into a $32,000 shopping spree.

On June 6, two vehicles at Seaton Hackney Stables in Morris Township and another in Madison were broken into, police said. The burglars stole credit cards and cash.

A short time later, police said, two females, accompanied by two males, purchased merchandise at The Mall At Short Hills with the stolen credit cards, racking up a giant $32,000 tab.

Police say the group also shoplifted items.
