Memorial Set Up for Crash Victim

The victim of a motorcycle crash last week was a Livingston firefighter.

There is a roadside memorial set up on White Oak Ridge Road for the victim of a motorcycle crash last weekend.

Anthony J. Deltufo, 54, of Livingston, died from the injuries he suffered when his motorcycle collided with a car on the curve of the road near the Livingston border. Deltufo was a Livingston volunteer firefighter.

The funeral for Deltufo was on Thursday, and a crew of Millburn firefighters were on duty in Livingston in order to allow all Livingston firefighters to attend it.

The 30-year-old passenger on Deltufo's motorcycle also suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. She was treated and released. Both were ejected from the motorcycle, police said. The 63-year-old driver of the Volvo involved in the crash did not complain of injuries.

At about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday a 2000 Volvo traveling southbound on White Oak Ridge Road and a 2008 Harley Davidson  traveling northbound collided. The vehicles collided near the end of the curve located between between 590-596 White Oak Ridge Road. Deltufo was pronounced dead at just after 4 a.m. on Sunday at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
