Millburn Cop Reunites Special Needs Child With Father

Millburn police received a report that the child had run away and may have entered the Rahway River.

Millburn, NJ – Millburn police helped to reunite a special needs child with a local father after the boy reportedly ran away on July 4, authorities say.

According to the Millburn Police Department, officers responded to Millburn Avenue on a report that the child had run away from his father and had possibly entered the Rahway River.

Responding to the area, a Millburn detective entered the river off Gilbert Place and located the child, authorities said.
