Millburn Cops: $8K Of Merchandise Stolen From Mall At Short Hills
Almost $8,000 worth of merchandise was reportedly stolen from The Mall At Short Hills, Millburn police say.

Millburn, NJ – Almost $8,000 worth of merchandise was reportedly stolen from The Mall At Short Hills last week, Millburn police say.
According to the Millburn Police Department, the following incidents took place at the mall:
- On June 14, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to the Jimmy Choo store at The Mall At Short Hills on a theft report. Jimmy Choo personnel reported on June 12, an unknown suspect took three handbags valued at $4,520 from a display and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
- On June 17, Millburn Police Officer Wichelns responded to Saks Fifth Avenue on a theft report. Saks Fifth Ave personnel reported that a 22-year-old Newark man concealed two shirts valued at $570 and left the store without making payment. He was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released with a court date.
- On June 17, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Coach store at The Mall At Short Hills on a theft report. Coach personnel reported that a female wearing a white shirt and black tights took a $1,200 handbag from a display and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
- On June 20, Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to Bloomingdale’s on a theft report. Bloomingdale’s personnel reported that a 27-year-old Brooklyn woman concealed five articles of clothing valued at $1,622 in a bag and left the store without making payment. She was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting, possession of an antishoplifting control device and hindering. She was released with a court date.
